Honor announces Magic 5 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Honor announced the Magic 5 Pro at MWC 2023, and it comes with a high-performance chip and advanced cameras.

As for the design, a circular camera island is installed at the back, and the body is made of a combination of metal and glass, which is hard. The front is equipped with a curved screen, and the left side has a capsule-shaped punch hole.

Equipped with a 6.81-inch OLED LPTO screen, it supports 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and 1100 nits of brightness. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and has LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage installed. It comes with a 5,100 mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Honor Magic5 Pro unveiled with a custom 1/1.12” camera sensor, vanilla Magic5 followed.

The Magic 5 Pro is equipped with interesting cameras: 50 MP main (OIS), 50 MP telephoto (3.5x optical zoom), 50 MP ultrawide on the back, and 12 MP ultrawide and 3D depth on the front. It runs Magic UI 7.0, based on Android 13, and comes with a fingerprint device under the screen. It also has an IP68 waterproof standard.

The Honor Magic 5 Pro is available in Cyan, Black, Orange, and other colors, and the 12GB RAM/512GB Storage model is priced at 1,199 euros (around $1,267). The company has yet to say when and where it will be sold.
