Honor Magic5 Ultimate with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 announced

Honor announced the Magic 5, Magic 5 Pro, and Magic 5 Lite last week at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, and now the Honor Magic5 Ultimate has been launched in China. It is the new generation of the previous year’s Magic: The Gathering Ultimate Edition and has many improvements.

Honor Magic5 Ultimate is a leather-bound Pro for China.

Honor Magic5 Ultimate is produced in Elegant Black and Burning Orange colors. The back is a leather design and is equipped with a 6.81-inch, 1312 x 2848-pixel LTPO OLED screen. A capsule cut-out is installed on the upper left side of the screen. It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Snapdragon 820 Gen 2 chipset. It has 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage, and a 5,450 mAh battery that supports 66 W charging and 50 W wireless charging. It runs Magic UI 7.1 based on Android 13 and has 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C, and NFC.

There are two cameras on the front: 12 MP and depth cameras. On the back, there are three cameras: 50 MP main, 50 MP ultrawide angle, and 50 MP periscope telephoto (100x digital zoom). The front and rear cameras can record 4K video.

Honor Magic5 Ultimate is priced at CNY 6,699 ($966) in China and will start shipping on March 20.
